"I don't know," he said, his tone indicating exactly how unsure he was about it all. That kind of honesty wasn't something many people got from him, usually it was all hidden beneath layers of sarcasm and snark, if it was even there at all. His siblings were different, though. Kol slowly nodded his agreement with her prediction about their brothers. Give it a week, if that, and the pair of them would be at each other's throats over a pair of girls, neither of them worthy of either of them. "Caroline..." he mused, shaking his head. "Is she really any better than Katerina?" He tilted his head slightly to look down at his sister. "She manipulates Nik, uses his feelings for her against him, and maybe if she didn't know about it, it might make them different, but she does. she knows and she uses it to her advantage whenever it suits her. And I know he sees it, I know he does. He has to. Yet..." He let that setence fall off there.
He let out a soft chuckle at that last comment, shaking his head. "That doesn't speak well for the rest of you, does it?"
