Kol arched one, incredulous eyebrow at her. She couldn't possibly think he was going to buy that. Nothing. People didn't sulk for nothing. There was something causing it. There was always something, it seemed. And Kol was growing so very tired of that fact. And even more so that most of it, he had absolutely no say or control over whatsoever.
When she continued, he nodded slowly, "He is. It's...bloody ridiculous." Kol scoffed slightly, shaking his head. "I don't understand it, Bekah, I really don't. With everything she's done, all the lies she's told, all the times she's used him, manipulated him... how can he still give a damn about her?"
Of course, Kol could easily say the same things about Rebekah's own choices in men. But that wasn't the topic at hand and he decided to let that lie for now.
