"Well, all right, I'll give you that," he said with a slight shrug. There was little any of them could do to fully convince anyone that came through the seal that they were, in fact, not completely mental, until they just let time and circumstance set in at their own pace. Being called insane was sort of the usual initial reaction.

His hands went up in a surrender of sorts, "Not coming any closer, love." he assured her, standing quite still to the spot for the time being. "There's somewhere I can take you, though. Somewhere safe. Safest place in the entire town, just about." Close enough, anyway. The Winchester's house was probably the most secure, but that wasn't really here nor there. "Apartment complex, set up for the displaced. Free room and board and everything you could need to start off." Just another reason people often distrusted Lawrence at first. Nothing in life was free.
