She watched him as he stopped and listened and actually caught on. She could see the range of emotions cross his face, first the confusion because really what was she talking about anyway, then realization and shock. It was a lot to take in, even on the other side of it, she supposed.
Katherine nodded, "I didn't want it," she said, shaking her head, "God, it was the last thing I'd have ever wanted, Damon, you know me, you know that. It was Elena." She let out a bitter sort of chuckle and shook her head. "God, she really is becoming a mini version of me back home, Damon. Take, take, take, it's all she does..."
"I don't know everything you know, so I'll just start from the beginning," She started pacing as she explained the story about Silas and the cure and every last detail--except one. She left out the part that she killed Jeremy. Everything that went along with that was just too much to deal with right now. So she left it out. And she hadn't quite gotten around to the important part about Elijah yet. That was next on her list, but she wanted to let him take this news first. "...and then I woke up here. Again."
