"A worldly man, I like that. You have quite the adventurous and curious spirit." Helena smiled warmly at him. Two qualities she did hold in esteem. She possessed them as well, and liked keeping people around her that shared the same qualities. Of course, working for the Warehouse had allowed her to explore the world and see the sights while simultaneously protecting it from the harm that artifacts could do. But to some degree, that seemed to have happened a lifetime ago. Here, she still had that thirst for adventure and a curious mind, and every so often she would indulge the traveling bug with the TARDIS when her and Oswin got the Doctor to take them somewhere. She had been in space and seen what the Earth looked like from there. That was certainly a sight she would never forget, and it had rendered her speechless. It had been exceedingly beautiful, more beautiful than she could ever have imagined.
But the fact that the café was also part library was absolutely brilliant. It took Helena several moments to collect herself after realizing that. Literature was perhaps her greatest love, and it would always get her attention and perk her up regardless of how low her mood was. Looking up at Clark as he touched her shoulder, she smiled warmly. "Agreed, there is no better way to drink it." Especially when there was also art involved. "Oh that's smashing, really. Oh I may have to come here again. Oswin may love this place as well." At Clark's statement of drinks first, then exploring, Helena nodded and headed inside the café.
The scent of the coffee hit her first and she took some moments to look around the front room they were in. It certainly had a homely atmosphere to it. As far as she was concerned, she could die there and be perfectly happy about it. She finally turned her attention to the menu, looking over the available drinks. It took her a minute to select one as it was a surprisingly difficult decision to make. But with it made, she looked up at Clark. "Do you know what you want?"
