"So bizarre that this time is history for you. If you want to be technical, this is the future for me. Only two years. But still." She shrugged and decided to leave out the part that, even if she was sent home, it was a time she'd never see. That was too depressing a topic for tonight. Tonight was about fun and she'd be damned if her fun got ruined by her own hand. "Who didn't sleep through history class?" she smirked.
Ginger smiled, a soft chuckle accompanying that as she shook her head, "You'd think," she said, not a single ounce of modesty in that statement, "but I guess you could say I'm not exactly the most liked person around here." She shrugged again. Mostly, it didn't bother her, she had her friends, what else did she need? But sometimes it was sort of lonely. "I'm not always the nicest person," she admitted, wrinkling her nose slightly. "but generally, I have perfectly good reasons to pull out and play my Bitch Card." she said with another quick shrug of her shoulders. Whether other people saw it that way she didn't know--or care, to be perfectly honest--but she felt justified during those moments and that was what mattered.
Lawrence wasn't the easiest place to adjust to and the circumstances she'd landed into upon arriving hadn't exactly been ideal. Nevermind the Apocalypse and the demons, the personal side of it was, at that time in her eyes, just as bad and she hadn't reacted well. As a result, she'd rather effectively isiolated herself from a good portion of the people here. "How are you adjusting, though? Backwards leap in time aside."
