A glare was shot in his direction at his reply. Yeah, she was doing great with fighting the demon, how did that help the situation any other than lock her in an ongoing fight. Buffy thought that he was going to start the exorcism after that, or at lest draw a trap, but when he didn't move, she got sort of annoyed.
Then when he mentioned what she should be doing, she looked up at him, eyes wide. "You mean you don't know it? You're the one who's been doing exorcisms for years!" because she sure as hell didn't have the latin memorized. She could sort of pronounce most of the words if she had the exorcism infront of her, but she couldn't without the guide. For Buffy, that was pretty damn impressive all things considering.
Aw crap. Her grip had loosened on the demon when she started cursing mentally. It wasn't until it pushed away from her and got to his feet to head toward Dean that she snapped out of it. "Hey!" she said, lunging toward the demon to spin in around and engaged it in a fight again, backhanding the black eyed asshole across the face. "It's not polite to switch dance partners, I wasn't done."
As she ducked another punch she glanced briefly at Dean. "Well don't you have the exorcism here somewhere?" it had to be pretty obvious to the demon by now that neither the hunter of the slayer knew what the exorcism was.
