“I think most people who are going to be taking the decade courses will actually want to be in attendance.” Though, considering she knew both Kol and her were wanting to attend his class that didn’t mean wouldn’t be subject to some unruliness. Caroline had a feeling Kol liked causing trouble anywhere that he possibly could, no matter the circumstances. “So you’ll be fine. And no throwing things at the people who don’t pay as much attention as you’d like.” Or worse. She really hadn’t thought through on the whole teaching thing considering how disrespectful some people could be...
She narrowed her eyes, suspicious of what he’d been saying in a language she couldn’t actually place. It was on the tip of her tongue to ask for a translation, but she decided it was probably better not to actually know. Especially with how the words rolled off his tongue and the bow had her guessing it had been probably been some sort of compliment and she still wasn’t all that gracious at accepting those. Especially from Klaus.
“I haven’t really given it much thought. The whole learning different languages.” She hadn’t even mastered Spanish yet and she’d been taking that for the last four years. Though, honestly, high school Spanish seemed to pretty much be a joke. And it wasn’t like she’d been able to make as many classes as she’d wanted during her Senior year anyway.
“Baby vamp, remember? I really haven’t been one that long in the grand scheme of things. Plus my time has been pretty occupied with hundreds of other life or death scenarios so the whole thinking about what languages I could learn or places I could see in this world wasn’t given much thought.” That had changed some since arriving in Lawrence though. There were still life or death situations to worry about, but it was so different from home that there were actually quiet moments to really think about the future that was open to her.
