Despite knowing she hurt, Sarah hadn't exactly had the chance to look in a mirror so when Andy's mouth fell open, she initially gave him a confused look. At least until it dawned on her that bruises must be developing already. Wonderful. "I got some ice, but that's about it," she responded. She took the pizza when he held it out and took it over to the table. The pizza smelled really good, and it hadn't been until the scent of it hit her that she realized just how hungry she was.
Killing Helena had been odd to her. On the one hand, she knew Helena had earned it with everything she'd done. On the other, they had been slightly more than just clones. They had been twins. And really, it hadn't completely been Helena's fault, she'd been abused and twisted by Tomas into becoming a killer. But even Sarah knew that didn't justify killing Amelia or getting closer to Kira. Sarah wasn't about to let Helena get closer to her daughter than she already had.
"Oh brilliant, thanks. I wasn't even thinking of that," she said in response to the drinks he'd brought. At his question, Sarah thought a moment as she grabbed herself a slice of pizza. "I don't think so. My shoulder aches a bit as does my head, but going face first into a cement pillar will do that to ya." Just as being choked with a chain did it to her neck. She could still breathe and speak just fine, so there didn't seem to be anything more serious than just the aches and pains.
"And you know, thanks for this," she said after taking a bite of pizza and looking at him. She wasn't one to always thank people, but it was something she was starting to do more of lately. At least when it was truly warranted. When Sarah thanked people, it was obvious that she truly meant it and wasn't just saying it because it was the proper thing to do.
