When he saw her he didn't try and hide his reaction. His mouth fell open as he realised her fight hadn't been as neat as his. It brought home to him how recent it was. How raw. He held out the pizza. "Do you have anything for that? No, you just got here... I can get you something. There's a pharmacy." She looked like she'd been though the wars but he was sure she felt worse and the worst scars were ones no one could see.
He didn't care what she said. Killing a sibling was hard. It got to you. Even if they were a virtual stranger. A killer. Pulling that trigger changed you. He didn't know Sarah well though to know how much it changed her yet and he doubted she'd even had any real time to process it. Her denials were premature. He was sure of that.
"I brought soda too, in case you were thirsty," he said almost conversationally. "When you eat we should get that seen to. Does it... I mean, is there anything more serious? Physically?" She was moving around but some people could hide some pretty bad stuff. He watched her closely while giving her physical space.
