It had taken Sarah aback when Andy had said he'd had a similar situation to hers. She probably could have responded to him with less sass, but she wasn't exactly in a good mood. Sarah had a tendency to lash out first, especially now after everything she'd been through. She really couldn't take anything more happening to her right now. The emotional turmoil was taking its toll. Amelia, her birth mother, was dead. Helena was dead. Kira had been taken, apparently either by Mrs. S or taken with her. Now she was in what apparently was some weird alternate universe in the middle of an Apocalypse. That was not exactly something she could handle right now, so she hadn't even started really processing that. Once she'd gotten one of those amulets and her apartment, Sarah had just sat down and let herself unwind.
Hearing the knock, Sarah jumped a bit, pulling the ice away from her face. She was edgy, as was to be expected, but she at least didn't go for her gun. Hearing it was Andy, she drew in a breath and let it out in a rush. Setting the ice on the table, Sarah got up and opened the door. The sight that greeted him was one that was obviously worse for wear. She'd taken her leather jacket off, leaving her in a blue and black plaid lumberjack shirt and a black tanktop underneath that.
"You are a life saver," she said, noting the pizza with a hint of a smile. "Come in." She stepped aside to let him into the apartment. She was doing her best to hold herself together, but after everything she lost and had learned, she was frayed at the seams, so-to-speak. She was unraveling, but she hoped she could stop that before she unraveled completely and couldn't put herself back together. She didn't have Felix here to help her, which she really didn't like, but it was what it was.
