Nodding a bit, Anatoly let that drop. He trusted Elena to ask if she needed the pain medication. But he also knew the effects strong pain medication had on people, and he was fairly certain if Elena took the medication it could undoubtedly lead to her talking about things she didn't want to talk about. Which he felt she should perhaps talk to someone about some of it at some point. Though he could tell that she was getting back towards the state she'd been in when she'd made her suicide attempt. Anatoly didn't like that, but he wasn't going to push for things right now.
"Just a little bit," he agreed. "Though the welcome back could have been worse." Because, well, it could have. Elena could have been killed. He could've been killed. Some army of god knows what could've been destroying the city. There were so many scenarios that were worse than this one. Still, despite the circumstances, he was glad to see Elena again. "I would, however, suggest the next time we meet that it be for tea or something of the sort. We end up in here far too often." Which, okay, the last sentence could be his way of telling Elena to be careful, but Anatoly also realized that they did have a tendency to end up in the medbay one way or another.
Anatoly wasn't certain what he do now. Svetlana and their daughters weren't here, so he wasn't certain where to really go once Elena left. Being completely on his own was something he hadn't had in a very long time. He could, of course, occupy himself by working, but even that would only go so far. Though he supposed at the moment, he'd just take things one step at a time. After all, in a place like this where anything could happen at any given moment, making long term plans wasn't exactly the best thing to do. Those plans almost always would end up getting screwed up sooner or later because of the chaos that could happen here and with people coming and going just as quickly with the Seal.
