As Anatoly went about figuring out the extent of Elena's post-demon fight injuries, the nineteen year old remained quiet, just letting him do his job. Elena already knew better than to try to fight it and given he was usually the doctor who was in charge of her cases, she was well used to the routine. And it wasn't like he would need to ask questions on what had happened like he had during the ghosts. He had been there, had seen the fight. It was a crazy welcome back to Lawrence, but it wasn't as if Elena hadn't nearly been staked and turned into a vampire on her return. So obviously returns weren't always smooth sailing.
Diagnosis given, Elena just scrunched up her nose in annoyance at the physical therapy but nodded. It wasn't exactly a new thing for her. But seriously, she had thought she was done with that, apparently not. Because she really would much sooner prefer not having to undergo surgery if she could avoid it.
"Right. Rest and physical therapy. Not exactly new."
Because it wasn't. It was annoying, but it wasn't new. Oh sure, there was always the option for vampire blood but that wasn't exactly something Elena was going to do. Especially knowing that there had been vampire blood used on her to take care of an injury before she died. Again. No. If she had been averse to the idea before, she was even more adverse to it now.
