There wasn't much to say. Or there was a lot to say. Looking up, Elena noticed the darkness of the sky. She would probably need to get back at some point lest Jeremy send out a search party because poor Elena was too fragile to hold her own. She loved her brother, but she had a feeling that following a suicide attempt, randomly not showing up so late would send warning bells. Right. Text once she got back to the medbay so that she could keep that from happening. She so didn't have the energy to deal with that again.
"I would think so. Less chance of random monster attacks at the very least."
Not that there wasn't any danger in the Soviet Union. Far from it. But in terms of demon attacks and vampires and randomly dying and coming back? Definitely not a thing that they would have to deal with there. And since they knew that time stopped, they would know that they weren't missing anything important. Or, Anatoly would know that as she hadn't seen any new arrivals when she had left in the afternoon. As if that really mattered in Lawrence where every minute was the opportunity for insanity.
Arriving at the medbay, Elena pulled out her phone and sent a text to Jeremy and Jenna to let them know she was okay. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long for this to be done. She didn't want to have to have to stay overnight. That would cause unnecessary worry and she really wanted to avoid that.
