With Mac calmer than before, Adam had fallen silent and kept a wary eye out for any potential danger while making sure Mac had control of his wolf for the moment. Adam really didn't want to kill the teen but so far, he was proving strong even if Mac didn't believe it himself. His sharp eyes watched as cars went by and none of them really made him look for too long. But when one approached he glanced over and arched a slow brow at it. Of course. Mercy had found a beater car. A very faint half smile tugged at his mouth as Mac asked his question.
"Considering how beaten up the car is, I'd say yes." There was a bit of amusement to his voice. He still remembered the old Rabbit Mercy had out in her yard on cinder blocks that she used to deliberately goad him or retaliate when he did something to irk her.
The Alpha moved to the car and he reached out, tugging the door open and he looked at the driver. "It's good to see you again Mercy," he said sincerely. It was odd her being here but not being able to sense their mating bond. No matter. Mac was more important right now and this wasn't the same Mercy from his time.
