Who: Radical Edward, OT Good Guys What: Setting up the cyber lair Where: Her apartment for now When: Backdated to over the weekend after her arrival Rating/Warnings: TBD, but looking to be pretty tame (beyond old bounty heads and the possible death of Spike Spiegel being discussed more than likely) Status: Open; in progress
As Edward worked on getting her cyber lair back into tip top shape she left the apartment door open. She happens to be a very social young woman by nature and decided an open door would be the best course of action for now,"Satellite from days of old, lead me to your access codes!" as she punched a button to up the resolution on some video she located online. "Some of this is reminding Ed is that crazy clown Spike went after before she left." briefly slipping into her old habit of speaking in the 3rd person. A brief tear escaped the hacker's eyes, nobody knew how alone she actually felt. "A time not my own and no crew plus backwards tech and a new batch of problems maybe on the loose, cue a spooked Ed. But the lair is being fixed, Ed has her goggles and well maybe there is a place for me yet in this wacky world." she decided as the old sparkle returned just as fast. The wardrobe however had been a challenge but she had found some jeans and vintage band tees plus boots at Wal-Mart of all places, making her look like a college kid but at the moment she was ok with that. She had also made web searches about jobs and maybe going back to school, Google had also become way too much fun she decided. "Note to self: look into weapons. A girl can't protect herself with just a laptop." she decided.
She then went back to work on the lair, the piles of computer gear and parts only a peek into genius hidden behind enough quirks to stock a small army. Plus a newly fixed scooter was neatly parked by the front door.
