Ruby was trying very hard not to think about the things Regina had said in their fight two weeks previous. Had it really been that long? Or had she lost more time? Being stuck in the medbay did that, though. But she was free, at least in a manner of speaking. Which meant that she had spent too much time brooding on what Regina had said. But it didn't help with Zee showing up and her insecurities cropping up, and worse, what Regina had done to Henry, hurting him and now he didn't trust anyone, was hurting, and nothing she did would work. So she just.. stopped. She shouldn't, she knew he needed to see that people cared but when she felt that all she did was make it worse because she didn't know what to say?
Groaning in frustration, the brunette was heading back to the house when she heard someone calling out in pain. She could hear the pain. Smell the blood. Sometimes wolf senses sucked. But maybe this time she could help? The trick would be... was it a new arrival or someone else? Because that would determine if she called for an ambulance or just got him back to the medbay. (She really was getting tired of that place, but helping, helping was good. And not making things worse. Hopefully.
Making her way down the alley, the injured woman felt her eyes widen. Who the hell got shot near the complex?! Well, okay, demons could be anywhere and Lucifer did know where the complex was, and it wasn't as if it hadn't been breached before. But first, making sure this man was okay. Because she didn't recognize him. But that didn't mean much in this place. Not at all. Kneeling down, she looked at him worriedly.
"How can I help?"
Because honestly, she had no idea what to do in this sort of situation. It wasn't like she was used to dealing with injured people who had been shot. But he definitely needed attention and he needed it now.
