Very nearly, the baby vampire started to take a step towards Kol when he threatened Jeremy. At the moment, she didn't care that she was young and didn't know anything, or that he was an Original - whatever that meant - and supposedly stronger and impossible to kill. He'd threatened that which she considered hers. Then Jeremy was there, standing between them and holding her arms. Distracted, her gaze fixed on him, and she felt an almost overpowering urge to toss him out of the way and go at Kol anyway.
Then his voice broke through and she trembled suddenly, almost jerking back from his grip, but stopping at the last moment. Letting out a sudden breath, she stared at Jeremy for a long moment as her eyes cleared and the veins on her face disappeared, blinked as tears filled her eyes. Stepping forward, Vicki lifted her arms and wrapped them around him tightly while pressing her face into his shoulder - a familiar position, for her.
"If that happens because you go back, then you're not ever going back, do you hear me? You're not!" Wiping her eyes on his shoulder to clear them, she lifted her chin to it instead and sighed, then opened her eyes and met Kol's in silence.
