"Definitely not me. I've never had any of those epic love fantasies," she replied with a shrug. She was too much of a realist, and knew she wasn't a damsel in distress. She was too broken. Damsels were perfect princesses. Girls like Caroline and Elena. Not Vicki...she was the peasant stuck in a shack on the edge of the village, who got to watch while good guys like her brother had their hearts broken by the princess.
Way more interested in him now that she knew he was a vampire, Vicki sat forward again, elbows resting on her knees. "Kol? Cool name. I'm Vicki Donovan." When he mentioned he had a ring, her eyes lit up with interest. "Do you have any extra? 'Cause that would be super useful if Jeremy was right and I'm stuck here." It took her a few seconds to realize she was hearing someone approach, and glanced over. her eyes brightened with pleasure as she saw Jeremy, and she jumped up in excitement. "Jeremy!" Forced to stay where she was until he moved over to her, she sat again and leaned into him a little as her eyes drank him in. She knew that her emotions were on overdrive - the Salvatores had said they would be - but she didn't care. She loved him and he was there now.
"Oh yeah?" Glancing back to Kol, she smiled again. "We just met..." Her voice trailed off at what her boyfriend said about one of them leaving, and her face took on a disappointed look. "Oh. Well, I kinda have to stay here, though, so....unless you have an extra one of those rings or something?" Vicki's eyes shifted back to Kol with interest, hoping he'd say he did.
