Kol was bored. And as a general rule, that had a tendency to spell 'trouble' where Kol was concerned. But not today. Or, hopefully not. There had been agreements, afterall. And really, aside from a random side-street, a liquor store and a hotel, Kol hadn't seen all that much of Lawrence. He decided to wander for a bit, explore the city, see what was out there. Hell, most days he was still amazed by the modern world. He was a fast learned, easily adaptable, but it had been the early 1900s since he'd seen civilation properly, only out of that blasted box a year or so, maybe not even quite that.
So, exploring happened. And in that exploring, he'd come across several shops he made note of to investigate further in the future. And a library. Now, Kol wasn't going to admit to being a full-on bookworm, but he had an appreciation for the written word, so it was a good find. He was intent on slipping inside for a bit when he caught sight of a girl. She looked....out of place, somehow though he couldn't quite put a finger on why. Nevertheless, he approached her. "Not waiting for a white knight, are you?"
