Who: Vicki Donovan, Kol Mikaelson, & Jeremy Gilbert Where: Outside the library (on the shaded steps!) When: Friday afternoon Rating: TBD Status: In Progress
After Jeremy had said he'd come meet her - something she'd barely dared hope he'd say, considering what had happened the last time she'd seen him, because trying to eat your boyfriend's sister didn't really add points to your favor - Vicki had looked around on the weird network a little longer, then finally pushed up from the chair she sat in. She'd ditched half of her Halloween costume, and was now pretty much just dressed in the red and black slinky dress, minus the sleeves she'd ripped off of it hours before. Because of the dress, or maybe because of just how she'd looked in general - or the fact that she'd been sitting in the computer lab (bouncing from monitor to monitor every forty five minutes to avoid being yelled at) - the woman who ran the library lab had begun to glare at her. Vicki had started glaring right back at her, when she realized she was feeling hungry again, and finally looked away. Stretching lazily, she shot the woman one last, dark look, then sauntered towards the door and into the main part of the library itself.A glance towards the exit told her that the sun had finally moved, and was now on the back of the building, so she could at least go out front and kinda sort of pretend to have an actual life. What kind of loser sat around all day in a library, anyway?
Pushing open the door, Vicki stepped out slowly, then stopped, eyeing the street just a few feet past the steps where the sun hit it. With a sigh, she rolled her eyes, then moved halfway down the stairs and sat to wait for Jeremy. She couldn't wait to see him, and swore to herself that she wouldn't hurt him. Not that she would have hurt him before, anyway, because she loved him. Screw Elena and Stefan for thinking she'd ever actually hurt the guy she loved. Being with Jer wasn't anything like being with Tyler. Jeremy treated her like an actual person instead of the tramp/junkie she knew she really was. He never looked at her like she was trailer trash, or ever tried to hide their relationship from his family the way her ex-jock boyfriend had. Jeremy was good for her and for him...she'd been willing to change. To take off - Matty would have been okay, or could have even come with them - to start over in some other town. Then she'd died.
