Much is the reason the squirrels are hiding ([info]muchnotmulch) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
"We should probably go under the over pass. You'll get soaked." He already was, but it made him feel better. However, the last thing he wanted was for Jane to get wet and sick when she'd made an effort not to. He stood up and offered her a hand up as well before he moved closer to the door. Being quiet was strange for him, but he'd already felt like he said too much at Robin, he didn't want to offend Jane again somehow either. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt his friends.

"Yeah. This is the first time I've ever been able to do that. It sounds nice when you aren't worried about it flooding your camp." He admitted. When Jane said she didn't like the thunder storms he could only laugh. It wasn't a cruel laughter, but it was there none the less for just a moment before he actually smiled at her. "I thought I was the only one. When we moved into Sherwood I could never sleep when they happened. Robin would stay awake with me a lot." As much as he hated the forest, he liked it better than Kansas many times.

"I can breathe a little better." He admitted with a half hearted shrug.
