Some days it was hard to find the best in some things. With the seemingly never ending threat of vampire attacks at the moment, her baby sister apparently being in love with one-and Jane knew he was an okay guy, she did, but she couldn't help the bundle of fear that he might revert to that alternate version and hurt her sister again. Hadn't Lydia dealt with enough already in this world and their own? Shouldn't her baby sister be allowed a break? Jane hoped the two would work out everything somehow and maybe their chance for love would go well, but one thing Jane did know for sure was that love was definitely a tricky creature. And while you may think someone loves you, it may just be all in your mind and their feelings might not be as strong as you believed. It was a painful lesson to learn and one that had taken her a long time to accept.
She was coming home from work, thankful she'd been given a ride by a coworker to the complex door. She had no intention of walking home alone, not because of the rain, but because she knew vampire attacks had been on the rise. Thanking her coworker, she exited the car and furrowed her brow in worry at the sight she saw on the steps. Something was wrong, that was plain to see. Though she wasn't sure what, but Much had been a good friend to her and a very good friend to Lydia, so she figured it was time she return that friendship.
Silently she sat down beside him, staring out at the water as it splashed onto the ground. "Hello." She wasn't really sure what else to say at that point.
