"Never that simple, Peter, you know better." He said, staring at the meek and feeble man in front of him. So many years he had taunted him, so many times he'd surely plagued his dreams. Jerry just got a crazy kick from the whole game of it all.
The jerky motions that he made with the stake did little to no good, barely making their mark and certainly not digging deep enough to cause any noticeable damage. Jerry advanced on him as he tried to back away, but he refused to back him into a corner--the chase was more fun. He wanted him to get away, for a minute at least.
