Drinks first was as far as she had thought, though she was open to a lot of possibilities. It was a far cry from how she grew up. Small town, church family, childhood sweetheart. At one time all she had thought of the world was in that small town. Her entire world had been just there. High school, possibly college, marry the guy, settle down and let the whole thing start again. It had been naive, but also comforting in a way. To be so comfortable in her own little bubble of life, of safety, that she didn't even question what the rest of the world might hold.
That all changed when she killed the high school sweetheart and found out that whatever she was, whoever she was, was a lie. Most might search for answers, but she hadn't wanted them. Deep down maybe, but not enough to go searching. In all her travels all she had really searched for was a way to be normal. She took odd jobs, she laid low and she tried to just be. Of course it never lasted long and as soon as something went wrong, usually in the dating department, she took off again. It wasn't until she was finally confronted with the truth that she couldn't run anymore.
Now, at least she knew. She knew what she was, how to start controlling it, and using it. Sure she could still make mistakes but running was no longer an option, neither was a normal life. So it was the search for a new kind of normal. For tonight, that included lots of alcohol and letting loose. Not too loose, there always had to be that shred of control. Just in case. She pushed that part out of her mind though, and focused on the beat, the heat of bodies and the auras she saw flying everywhere. The ones looking for that connection, however brief, that intense need for someone that could probably erase whatever they wanted so badly to get away from.
Before the bartender could reply she heard someone and turned. The woman was stunning. In that all natural way that still made Bo a little envious. Not that BO was bad looking but she knew most of the time, the attraction was more based on what she was. This woman had a classic beauty that would get anyone's attention. High cheekbones, sculpted face, full lips, and dark eyes set in porcelain skin. Her hair was dark and full. Bo was guessing it didn't need half the product her own did for that kind of body. The aura coming off of her wasn't the same though, not here on a date she guessed. Or if she was, the date was so not going well.
"Extremely!" She answered and looked back at the bartender. "Make it two." Pulling off the bar she was leaned over she turned to the woman and offered a hand. "I'm Bo. First drink on me." Worse case she was on a date and the woman could take both drinks for her and her date and Bo would order herself a double.
