The beer was on tap so she got the glass put up pretty quickly. A small tug of her lips as she noticed it wasn't a mug but a glass, one of those fancy shaped ones that was supposed to be better for the head of beer, and put down on a small doily. Wow. Okay then. With her hand on the glass she didn't drink right away but took a look at the people around. She could read auras, sort of. See how attracted people were, how into them they were. Couples were out, she didn't want to mess with anyone's relationship just because she needed a little something.
The gentleman nearest her was on the hard stuff, a good bet that he was willing to drown whatever he was trying to forget in other things. He seemed, just slightly out of place. Maybe it was his outfit maybe not. She honestly didn't know what the styles were in this place. He caught her looking though and she smiled as he looked her over. An odd joke, or toast. Or maybe not. Maybe he was like her, totally out of place.
Deciding to see if she could get him interested, right now he was showing no signs, she turned towards him and raised her glass. "As good a toast as any." Sipping at her beer she licked her lips and set it back down, careful of the doily thing in case the bartender was a nit picker on those things. "You know what they say about the end of the world, it's when you find out what someone is really made of." An elbow up she propped up her head in her hand and crossed her legs on the stool. Hooking her heel in the bottom rung. "So what would you want to do, if this was the end? You don't look like the drown your sorrows type to me."
