Sam visibly relaxed when Bo confirmed that she was, in fact, Bo. Awkward exchanges weren't exactly his specialty and Sam wasn't feeling all too up to a whole sorry, thought you were someone else moment. He exhaled slowly, ran a hand across the back of his neck, and looked down at Bo with a relieved sort of smile. "It might've helped," he admitted, "but I found you. I mean, you kind of -" He shrugged. "You kind of had that look, you know? Like you were waiting." Sam pointed over his shoulder, gesturing toward some of the bar's other occupants. "They don't."
Sam pulled out one of the chairs and sat down across from Bo. As soon as he did, a server approached their table, asked him if he wanted his usual, and whisked her way off to the bar as soon as he confirmed that he did.
"Good to see you found the place okay," Sam told her. "I mean, considering...it, uh. Well, it can get pretty complicated around here. You showed up at a good time." Not that showing up in Lawrence at all was ever a good time for anyone. What Sam really meant was that Bo had arrived in a time of semi-quiet, in which the Seal hadn't decided to spit up something crazy or when Lucifer hadn't launched another attack. If a person was going to show up here, popping up long enough to learn the essentials without the distraction of chaos was the best thing that could have happened to them.
Their server returned with his drink. Beer. Nothing fancy. "So, questions. I'm sure you've got a million and then some," Sam said, looking to Bo with another small smile. "I can't promise I'll make any of this less confusing, but I'll do my best."
