"It was, and it was cold. I should like to thank her somehow but I'm not sure how yet." He said with an idle shrug and stepped aside so Robin could see things better. That was what this was all about after all. They might not have had their home, but that didn't mean this place could not be good as well. He was learning that, day by day he was learning that. Gisborne hadn't tried to kill them in ages, there were no royals trying to kill them. But maybe they could do something just as great there too. He knew Robin was great. He always had. It didn't matter the time or place to Much.
"Few weeks now." He said like it was nothing, just the acknowledgement from Robin was al he needed. His face was bright with pride as he watched him examine things. "One for planning. Two for doing." He'd kept a secret that long, it might have been his longest one yet. Much was stil uncomfortable climbing trees and probably always would be, but for Robin there was little he wouldn't do.
"It was worth it." He met Robin's grin with one of his own and squinted up at him. He'd spent the last few weeks in a tree, did he really have to get up in it again? Making a small face of discomfort, he too followed Robin up the tree. "Well with Lydia's help yeah. Couldn't have seen rubbish if she wasn't here." The forest had been cold, but on the inside of that small tree house it was warm and it was lit with a lantern Much had found. He'd even gone into a store to complete that project.
