Oh he was a smart one, most definitely and Jack could only approve of someone like that in his life. “You can’t have a world without war. It’d be cold, and lifeless, it’d eventually shrivel into nothing, no one would learn, nothing would thrive. Gotta say though, you’re sexy when you get all philosophical! Keep it up!”
As for Hitler, he knew that story well. “As it happens, friend of mine punched him out once. Kill him though and you kill the world we have now, cause like him or not he had an impact. Everyone did. You take one person out of that and hello butterfly effect. Or a parallel world. With some small changes but still a world, only maybe one where they killed Hitler, Germany never got the power it did which means Russia never got slapped down, America never got as big as it is. You see where I’m going with all this?”
He could talk about third dates more though. Jack was entirely good with that being a topic for discussion.
“So noted solider.” he responded with a grin. Could only bode well, he thought, taking another mouthful of his drink.
No one ever believed about the cat-nuns.
“Actual Cat Nuns. Cat people, who were nuns. They were vicious little things when they wanted to be. Though, you might know, gotta ask, did the tiny hands thing actually make T Rexes more pissy? I always imagined it had to.”
