Was he high? That was ridiculous. Of course not. And on the blood, well obviously not, no one was dead. Except them. Hah. God he was hilarious sometimes. But no he wasn't high, Kia Ora wasn't that bad. And she'd never figure it out because how could she, how could she possibly know that he'd gotten some in America of all places. She was not some amazing detective after all she was Scottish. And they didn't always know things.
So he decided he would go with denial.
"Alex. You are being silly. For one, how would I have even gotten some in America. They don't make it here!" he said, far too proudly for his own good and with that same almost prissy expression that said he'd already won the argument so there was no point in having one.
"Can't I just express some emotion without you assuming its that? I mean yes, seeing you was sort of terrifying me because you're sort of the walking proof it all goes wrong and I revert and cause god knows what horrors. AND I know you won't stake me cause I'm not him, even though frankly I think you should. So if I had. IF I had had some I think it would be considered entirely acceptable and can I just kiss you a little bit?"
He didn't know where it had come from.
But if she said yes he'd do it, right there in the street.
And if she said no and took his Kia Ora. Well she didn't know he had more. One point to him!
