"I think we have a little time to plan for that, yeah," Andy said, enjoying making a few low-stress plans with her all the same. Andy wasn't worrying about being sent home. Way he saw it, it could happen it might not. If he was going to focus on it the whole time he was there he might as well be gone. You couldn't live for something that may never happen. He, too, didn't really know what Charlie was to him yet. A friend who could be more perhaps. They were right at the start. All he knew was he could see himself sitting across from her in half-a year's time and the thought of it didn't bother him at all.
Andy tilted his head slowly at her admission. "Seriously? Old cartoons. That's awesome. Seriously. We need to do this in the same place. What are your favourites? Even gotten into anime?" He found himself smiling a lot since they started their date.
"Oh, this and that. Trying to cook some, reading everything I can find...." He dropped his voice. "Working on my powers. I know I can get more out of them if I try. I think I'm going to need to." His expression turned more serious.
