Andy grinned, enthusiastic about that idea. "Seriously? That was be the most awesome thing every. You'd be an amazing Wonder Woman." Andy put two fingers to his temple. "What do you think I should go as, Professor X or..." and he forced a gun shape with his hand, "Han Solo." Sure a jedi may have made more sense but he couldn't go past Solo's swagger. He didn't even stop to question that by Halloween he would dress to match her.
"Compared to village food, yeah. Compared to home-cooked I'm not sure but I'll take it. At least the company will be good." He couldn't stop looking at her out of the corner of his eye.
And she called a day with him in it perfect. His leg may have jiggled a little in happiness. "I'm gonna go with amazing. An amazing day. I got to rest, got to see you and, well, got to see."
The cab rolled to a stop outside the restaurant and Andy paid, this time. He slid out of the car and offered his arm again, enjoying the playfulness of the outing. They both needed it.
"Don't know about you but I'm starting with the garlic bread with cheese on it."
