Jack could not have expected what he found when he got to the Complex. He'd gone over to make sure everyone was holding up okay. See what he could do to help given the situation He was good in a fight and he could keep morale up if need be. He would do what he could to help them. What he didn't at all expect to find was the pretty solider boy curled up at the wall of the complex like he was. Jack wouldn't have seen him if not for the occasional scuffling move and muffled noise. The man was not okay and Jack knew that look. It was the look he'd given the Daleks right at the end. Or what he'd thought was the end at least.
It confused him more than anything, the guy had been so damn with it, together, the whole time Jack had spoken to him, sure he didn't know Becker beyond a chat on the internet but he also knew how quickly the memories of a solider could come to the fore and tear them to shreds. They all had stories to tell no matter the enemy. Daleks, Insurgents, Dinosaurs apparently? Who knew what he was seeing?
"Captain" he said softly, approaching as quickly but quietly as he could but staying out of arms reach for now. He knew how bad this could get and what it might mean. "You okay there. It's Jack remember, Jack Harkness, we talked a little bit before."
He had to be careful here, with what he said, how he reacted. Becker was in a world of his own and it was going to be hard to break him out.
