Meg rolled her eyes, not at Hal, but at the situation in general. "Trust me, every time anything like this happens, the egos come out to play. Everyone thinks their way is the best way, that they have the answers, blah blah blah blah. Sometimes I wonder if people actually just enjoy the ego rants. I mostly try to stay out of these things." With mixed success, admittedly. She wondered just how much trouble Castiel was getting into now. Sometimes she was angry at herself for caring so much about someone who didn't seem to even care about themselves all that much. Which was another reason she had buried herself in work so much over the past few days. Watching so much self destruction was too hard.
"Radio 4?" Her nose wrinkled with confusion. Had to be a British thing. "I personally love the internet. I've met my closest friends on there, like Belle and Emma. Good people who I probably never would have encountered if it wasn't for the Seal and the network." Okay, well definitely if not for the Seal, what with her being dead and them being from fairytales.
Meg smiled, with a hint of sadness. "It's alright. These things happen, I guess. And I have another chance. And I know exactly what my unfinished business is." A slightly dark glint came into her eyes. "The bitch that possessed and killed me is still alive somewhere, possessing another meatsuit. That's what they call us, by the way, the people they take. Meatsuits. It's all we are to them. One day I'm going to track her down and kill her. And in the meantime," she held up the book, angling it slightly so Hal could see the legal title. "I'm taking my life back. Law school, or at least that's the plan if I pass my exams."
