Fresh air. Fresh air was what she needed and that was what Meg was determined to have. She had been shut in the library for hours and had finally had enough, walking out to clear her head. She didn't pick a destination, not really. She just started walking in one direction and kept going, her mind going over recent events in the city.
When Dark had arrived, she had stayed very clear. Someone who could feed on dark emotions, yeah, she was pretty sure a year of possession could have done him very nicely. And now there was the witch and Meg figured that talking to her was probably a bad idea.
Besides, she wasn't a demon. And Dark hadn't been either. And maybe Meg was single minded, but her desire for revenge was great. She was a student and a hunter and her hunting was focused on the creatures that had taken her life. Had indirectly taken the life of her sister too, and destroyed her family forever.
But that didn't stop her from worrying about Cas and everything he was seemingly involved in. His friends affected by the witch. Meg wondered if perhaps her stance on non-involvement needed to change any time soon.
She was so lost in her thoughts, she barely noticed the other man until his shadow crossed her path and she just managed to halt before crashing into him. "Oh god, sorry." She shifted the heavy book she was carrying onto her other hip as she glanced up to his face, her other hand going to shield her eyes from the midday sun.
"I've seen you somewhere before, haven't I? On the message boards maybe?" Of course if he wasn't one of the displaced, she was going to look like an idiot, but she had a hunch she was right.
