Caroline rolled her eyes slightly at him, but there was a smile tugging at the corner of her lips. It was almost weird being back in the penthouse, and for a moment she just stands there, because it's overwhelming. She quickly fakes a smile and bounds the rest of the way in turning to look at Damon. The last thing she wants is for him to realize how she's suddenly feeling a little freaked out and uncertain. So much had happened the last time she was here - the last time she remembered anyways. She had done things, things she wasn't proud of - things that hopefully she wouldn't succumb to this time. She was stronger, and hopefully smarter.
"I'd love something to drink," she replies.
She turns to look around the place again, trying to calm down her nerves which are fraying way to easily again. "So, what have you been up to since I left," she paused. "The first time. I can't really remember the oth- actually I can't remember them at all. Which is weird. Really, weird."
