Who: Andy and Charlie What: Ice cream and talking Where: In the Complex When: Monday Rating: Low
Andy stood in the foyer with an ice cream for a girl. It wasn't the first time he'd ever done that but it was certainly the strangest time. Still, Andy had decided he was going to start again and, truth be told, he liked Charlie. The more he learned about her the more he saw what he already had to know, she was his type. She needed someone who understood as much as he needed someone who wouldn't run away from him, someone he couldn't scare so easy.
But it was early days and it was a bud of feeling. Andy didn't want to start at the end, he didn't want to force it. It wasn't his first relationship. He knew how they were meant to start and how it was meant to feel? Was he gonna start one with Charlie? He had no idea but he wouldn't mind a couple of low-pressure dates to see. Get to know her, from scratch. Give her a chance to show him how she was and let him catch up. It wasn't too much, wasn't too hard. Not for him. He hoped it wasn't for her.
He licked a thread of chocolate from the side of his cone and hoped Charlie came soon, before her's melted.
