Peter tipped his head back against the wall and groaned. He had been hoping, rather intensely so, that he would have been able to follow through between the two of them unnoticed for a time. Peter had wanted to guarantee that Felicia was going to be safe; he didn't want to stop right out in the limelight for a round of Humiliate the Spider. Suppressing the urge to walk in the other direction, Peter stepped around the corner, mouth set in a thin line as he eyed the duo. There was something inside of him that instinctively turned unpleasantly at the sight of Eddie. It was bad enough that he was here. Seeing him standing next to Felicia, however, brought on something else that Peter found he was becoming terribly familiar with. He was angry. Irrationally so. Fists curling and uncurling at his sides, he fell short a few paces away from them both. Peter couldn't quite bring himself to look at Felicia - it was far less humiliating and ten times as easier to merely glare at Eddie instead.
"I told you he was dangerous," Peter said in a low voice, that glare intensifying just slightly.
He wouldn't have come out if not for the fact that he knew Eddie could have sensed him. It was how it worked, wasn't it? Kind of like how Peter had been able to sense him coming before he had even stepped through the door. An unfortunate thing that they had in common, it was.
