"I'll try to show you how to use it. Once I get your updated computer system here. If you don't use it I'm sure Sam will have fun with it." The same database on her computer was on his, but that thing was ancient. Maybe not to Bobby but to someone who knows windows 98 isn't the highest operating system there is... it took her forever to finally make it compatible with the advanced technology Chloe's computer uses.
The urge to hug him was there...and it was very strong. But Chloe resisted, for now. She couldn't help that she was grateful for what Bobby has done for her and what he's offering. "Chicago is where the boys are so that's where I'll be going. I've got an apartment all ready to go I just have to sign off on it. I think we both know not to ask how I'm paying for it....and I think Chicago is between me and you right now. So keep your lips zipped or I will tell the boys to move in here instead." The thought of Bart zipping through the salvage yard caused her to laugh again. Those piles wouldn't be so neatly stacked for long. "I appreciate it Bobby. I really do..no, don't try and stop me." The 'dont mention it' wasnt going to be allowed here. Bobby didn't have to do any of this and she knew it. He could have turned her away the day she asked to use his books. "I didn't know what to do or think before I got here. I didn't read everything in the library but at least I have a general idea. I know what's out there. I have no intentions of hunting right now but I feel a lot safer having the database at my fingertips...I promise you will know how to use it soon." Flipping the omelets to double check, the last fresh and hot breakfast was served.
