Sam cast a gentle smile against her soft lips. "You'll see. Now, go lay down on the bed." He gave her a gentle push in that direction, stepping around her to push the door shut behind them. The nice thing about this apartment was that it gave them all kinds of privacy. They had so much room to themselves that they had never had before and Sam loved every last second of it. He didn't even need to close the door, really. It was merely the desire to make sure that Ruby felt as comfortable as possible that fueled his will to do so.
He had to admit to himself that he was a bit nervous about this. Not only because Sam was working at getting that weird pregnant Ruby theory out of his head, but because this was something that they just didn't do. They never really tried it and Sam sort of wondered if they were physically unable to do so. Maybe Ruby had more of a tolerence for it than he did - heck, Sam wasn't even sure if he bad much of a tolerence for it. But they were going to find out tonight. It built itself into that nervous sort of excitement that Sam only experienced with her. Sam could only hope that he went about it the right way.
Turning from the door, Sam kicked his shoes off and moved to join Ruby at the bed. "Are you comfortable?"
