What: Allison finds herself in Lawrence. How the hell did that happen?

Getting over Scott was harder than she’d expected. This was in part because she loved him, but mostly because he had been so persistent with her. There wasn’t a day where he didn’t plant a note somewhere she would find it and her phone was always buzzing with sweet texts from him. Allison was a tough nut to crack, though. Nowadays she was a more focused girl. She had go-to activities that she would resort to whenever she felt like answering those sweet texts with equally sweet responses. One such activity was archery. She’d lost interest in it before, but now enjoyed it as an outlet for stress.

She’d gone out to the woods with her newly replaced bow and a quiver full of arrows. Allison took aim, pausing for accuracy, and let an arrow go. As it sped through the air towards an unsuspecting tree trunk, Allison became a little dizzy. In the blink of an eye things changed. Suddenly she wasn’t in the woods. She was in some kind of urban setting and her arrow was lodged in a telephone pole. She was too in a haze to discern words, but she was pretty sure a man in a suit was cursing at her for almost killing him.

“I’m sorry.” She said in a low voice. Allison stood in one place for a few seconds before spinning around wildly. Her eyes darted from one place to another, looking for clues. Had she finally gone crazy?

She spotted an internet cafe just a block away and ran for it. Maybe then she could get some answers and figure out how she wound up in completely different city. Allison practically burst through the doors, patting her pockets to see just how little cash she had on her at the moment. Hopefully she’d be able to find some answers.
