Even people who were used to crazy tended to have some reaction to the world. Mostly the fictional aspect. But that was more of a minor issue at the moment. At least to Abby, if only because they weren't popular on the telly here, so there was less chance of them being recognized. That was something she'd get to later once it seemed that the more pressing issues were covered. Though people considered different things important. But Becker was a soldier, which meant focus on the threat first, fictional things were secondary.
The look was met with a brow quirk, because really, it was the Seal. Anything was possible. Not that Becker was used to the Seal and it's shenanigans yet. But he was used to anomalies, it wasn't that different. Beyond the fact there was no precursor or the fact that it wasn't just predators that came through. That things that were considered supernatural were real. Eh. Complicated.
And the Connor issue. At least he did know Becker and not just from their show, that would be hard to explain. Not like mentioning the last memory Connor had would be easy. They had all felt the loss of Nick Cutter. In different ways, but it still hurt.
"He remembers meeting you. He doesn't know you as well.. but you were part of the team before he got brought here..."
And the big question. What had he been dragged into, what had all of them been dragged into?
"The Biblical apocalypse. The Seal is one of the ones that was keeping Lucifer locked in his cage. Well, a bunch of them broke, when that one did, it started dragging people here. But not just people. There have been psychopaths showing up, demon possession is a constant threat and from this world... the Horsemen. Since I've been here, we've dealt with both Pestilence as well as Death..."
The mention of Death caused Abby's features to darken slightly. The ghost situation had been horrid. Seeing Joel again, the fear, the attacks. But he was gone now so she just pushed it aside and let Becker process that round of information.
