Vic was so un-amused by all of this. If she didn't get to that splinched person...well, she'd probably end up in some trouble. She didn't think her job was the most amazing thing in the world, but she really wanted to keep it. It was a good job. So, the fact that she had been pulled away from it this way, definitely didn't bode well for her mood.. That was unfortunate for those around her, actually.
Teddy had to have answers, though. If he didn't he'd at least be able to help. Or she hoped so, anyway. With the luck she seemed to have today....he'd probably trip and manage to knock her over along the way. and then she'd be dirty and pissed off by the whole thing. That wouldn't be very good for anyone.
It registered a moment late that Teddy had hands full of shopping bags. And...upon a bit of closer inspection he didn't have his wand at all. Unless he'd found somewhere else to tuck it. His response to her question definitely irked the fiery redhead. "Teddy, are you bloody kidding me?" She glared at him, unashamed. "I know I broke up with you, but you don't have to be a git!" She lightly swatted his arm, resisting the urge to punch him or something. "And why are we in Lawrence, Kansas....that's in the states, isn't it?" Vic asked with a furrowed brow.
