Svetlana watched as the different things flickered across Helena's face. The readjustment, the memories and feelings that then would tie into how she had fit in before. But she was definitely on the more rational side of thing, that much was certain. She had proven that when she decided Emily should stay for the time being until Helena found herself more comfortable here again, more adjusted and better able at being around people as the child's well being came first.
"She is."
She didn't really know what to say on that, Svetlana had been able to tell something was upsetting the younger woman, but she hadn't pushed. She had never been extremely close to her for one, not to mention her whole aversion to connecting to people if she could help it. So long as no one got it in their mind to kidnap her to force her to do so, she'd be fine.
And while Svetlana had indeed picked up on the fact that Helena hadn't told anyone about her arrival yet, that she was the first person, she was trying to logic it away. She lived in the Complex, since Helena had her memories, she would have been picking up an amulet. Emily. She knew that it went deeper but to really try to analyze that, at least right now, it would be too much and so she would brush it aside for the time being. Watch Helena and see how she readjusted, see if she had actually listened and learned and not just think she had.
"I am sure others will be glad to know you are back."
Not just Myka, but Helena had made a lot of connections before and a lot of people had been upset about her leaving. Svetlana had even if they had been at an awkward part of their friendship. But there were others. It was also telling Helena not to hide from everyone because that would just make it worse. But if she bothered to listen or not, well, Svetlana was expecting she wouldn't but it still needed to be said.
