Emotional stability was probably a matter of personal opinion, subjective, and while she did feel bad at keeping Helena from Emily presently, she also knew it was in everyone's best interest. Not fair, but also the most pressing issue in terms of Helena's emotional well being at being able to be there for her daughter. There was a reason Svetlana had kept Emily after the Moriarty disaster until she personally felt that Helena was able to care for her daughter as she should. So unfair as it was, it was also necessary. Still, it did seem she'd been right, that Helena would prefer Emily with Svetlana than with two people she wasn't familiar with.
It wasn't hard to figure out just what Helena was trying to deal with thanks to her watching of the show, and given Svetlana's own issues with people in general. Being around people for someone who was used to being on their own and who didn't trust, or was told not to trust, well, it was difficult. The memories would undoubtedly help the Victorian woman but that didn't mean it would be instantaneous. So she would keep an eye on the matter, even if it meant having to open herself up to the idea of socializing again beyond her trips to the medbay to do inventory and things she couldn't do from the apartment.
"Of course."
And the comment was simply met with a nod. The Regents and Mrs. Fredric. Svetlana knew how hard it could be to remind oneself that those they were used to being on the look out for weren't actually in Lawrence. True, thanks to the hallucinations she'd suffered upon arrival until his arrival, Svetlana had thought Molokov there and even now, she was convinced of being monitored at times. It was ingrained in her so sometimes if she was stressed enough, her mind went onto autopilot. As it had been doing in terms of her connecting to people.
