Whether it was unfair or not for Svetlana to use Emily as a test didn't even register in Helena's mind. It was probably one of the better tests of whether or not she was emotionally stable, or at the very least could think rationally and not emotionally. The Victorian woman did want to go hold Emily and reassure her that they would be united again soon, but Helena felt that was a very bad idea. She didn't want to upset the balance anymore than she had to. But she felt confident in leaving Emily with Svetlana and her family for a while longer. Emily was safe here, it was familiar, and that was all the Victorian woman wanted for her daughter.
As much as Helena was more stable than she had been before the Seal had taken her back home, she did have issues with having been alone nearly the entire time. Having been told to not communicate with anyone did weigh heavy on her. Helena needed time to unwind, to remind herself Mrs. Frederic wasn't here. The Warehouse wasn't here. The Brotherhood wasn't here. This was a different world, and she had friends here. Though there was also the fact that the Astrolabe was here, and that fact did put Helena on edge. She couldn't let it fall into anyone's hands, and that was her priority, to ensure it stayed out of people's hands. Keeping secrets wasn't exactly something she was comfortable with, but where the Astrolabe was concerned, the less people knew about it, the safer they would be. She would only tell those who absolutely needed to know. Which as of right now, Loki was the only other person she would trust with the information because, hopefully, he would be able to help protect it with magic.
"Thank you," she replied, a little smile of gratitude finally cracking her otherwise sombre expression. "Readjusting and reminding myself this isn't my world and certain people are not here." Certain people obviously referring to Mrs. Frederic and the Regents, which Svetlana would pick up on given she'd watched the television show. She thought about asking Svetlana to let Emily know that she loved her, but she was fairly certain Svetlana would do so anyway, so she didn't voice it.
