Who: Jack and Martha What: Dealing with things :( Where: Martha's place When: Early evening Rating: I'd say low but also Jack is in it? Status: In progress
Jack wasn't about to deny he was worried about his friend. He has been worried about her for a while in spite of how well she was settling in and her stories about back home. No one could go through what they did and be entirely okay. And then what had happened recently. She'd died. She'd died a hero saving her patients and though she'd come back it didn't take away the memories or the confusion it brought. He knew that better than anyone. Coming back did not make death okay. Of course it didn't. It would still hurt. It would still mess up.
So they'd talked some. But Jack was keeping an eye on her. He was checking in on her more than he normally would because there was a bond there now. More than just that year they'd spent in a hell of the Masters making. Now she had been there, maybe she'd even seen the darkness that he had. But if she needed to talk. She needed to talk. And he would be there for her. Besides that they were both worried about Rose and her connection to people that worried them, both mentally and, if he was honest, historically. But there would be time for that later. He was here to focus on Martha and make sure she got through things okay.
So he'd turned up at her door with a bottle of wine and a bunch of flowers because, well that was just how he did things. His first meeting with Rose had involved dancing on an invisible spaceship after all and with Martha it had been CPR after clinging on to the TARDIS to the end of time itself.
