The teasing was long since missed. And the fact that it had finally returned was a welcome relief. Between distance and being convinced Percy was dead, there was so much lost time. She knew Percy had felt it back home, but she had found him on his arrival. He had known where she had thought him dead, thought herself dead in moments for when she returned. To tease even while sick, it wasn't something Marguerite had thought would ever come to pass, even these two months that he had been in Lawrence.
"That will certainly be something to see."
And while it seemed Lisbon tended to put up with Jane's antics, Marguerite knew she would actually challenge Percy on his antics even on the same side. But she wasn't the woman, while Percy and Jane were disturbingly similar at times, Marguerite was not that for any of the characters. Unless the dead wife showed up and there was the unspoken correlation of their life. No, best to ignore that thought and just know she wouldn't take the same insanity that Lisbon seemed to take.
At the question, Marguerite shrugged before coughing. With the series over, Marguerite was finding herself more tired than she had initially thought as her body tried to recover.
"Not particularly. I think I may try to sleep, though."
Because contrary to what Martha undoubtedly thought, Marguerite was capable of taking care of herself and resting when there wasn't something which required her attention. Squeezing Percy's hand, Marguerite stood up and took her now empty tea mug to the kitchenette before heading to the bedroom. Who knew what Percy would do, be it read or find something to watch or eat something but for Marguerite? As reading was presently out of the question with her head still fuzzy, sleeping seemed to be the more preferable option.
