Now there was a part of Percy that was starting to entertain the notion of masquerading as a nun. Or even just a woman in general. That particular avenue of infiltration in Paris had never really come up. While he'd had plenty of disguises, he'd never even considered or needed a woman's costume to get him in some place to save someone. But what if he'd needed to? What kind of woman would he have made? A tall possibly too masculine one at the very least. Still, Percy brushed the thought aside knowing he didn't need to go around masquerading as a woman to save someone in this place. Or, hopefully, even in their own world if they ever returned there.
So then there was moving on to the other happenings of the episode. Which okay, he'd been picking up on the threads, the thrown away comments.
"It would seem that way. I'll be dashed, that would make some things make sense."
Then there was brunette Marguerite being arrested yet again. That wasn't exactly surprising. Though what was surprising was the woman who had custody of Marguerite. She seemed to have more of a trail of blood and a need for it than the Chauvelin he knew did. Though even that wasn't so surprising. The revolution had turned many people into monsters like that woman, like the Chauvelin from his world. He'd seen it first hand while saving all the people he had. No one was safe once the bloodlust took hold of those in the revolution.
"I am trying to decide if the brunette you has a liking for being arrested since she seems to be unable to keep herself out of someone's clutches."
Though upon seeing himself make a better Chauvelin than Chauvelin, Percy's brows arched and an amused smile tugged at his lips. Though at his wife's prodding, he looked over at her, a smirk on her lips.
"Study a man long enough and you know what makes him tick." He tapped the side of his nose and laughed. "But I'm not certain I'm comfortable with knowing this me makes a better Chauvelin than that Chauvelin." Yes he was a master of disguise and playing parts out of necessity, but this was something else entirely. "Though it is rather ingenious of him to do that in order to escape."
