As for Guy, well... She had to crack a small smile. "He muttered, but I'm pretty sure I heard something about foolish and hero and stupidity might have been in there, too, but I'm not sure." For all his faults and all the times she'd wanted to hurt him as he'd hurt her, Guy was somehow someone she trusted. No, she couldn't make herself justify what he'd done. But he'd earned her trust back once before, he was working towards it again. And, frankly, she'd needed him. Even if she had been fool enough to go out looking on her own, she couldn't have gotten him back to the Complex.
